ADD a phrase below knowing that 3 out of 4 entries will be duplicates or exempted. Duplicate phrases are repeats of New and Exempted phrases. The most frequent duplicates are: "out of the question" (41 times); "give and take" (40 times) with "take it easy" and "after all" (tied at 39 duplicates). Exempted phrases are duplicates of the 107,000+ phrases from my pre-website data base which have since been added for the first time to the web site. All other entries are placed in Quarantine until they are accepted as New phrases. The last ten new phrases are below.

REGISTER and then search any word., for example, "like" and find up to 1000 phrases. For "like" the most frequent phrases are "tell it like it is", "take it like a man" and "out like a light." I add new and duplicate phrases every day from horoscopes, crossword puzzles, TV programs or whatever comes to mind.

FYI If you add a phrase and it isn't listed within a few days, then assume it is in Quarantine for one of these reasons: misspelled/missing a ? , an unacceptable word or meaning, not on the 1st page of a major search engine, is unfamiliar to this web master, or awaits review.
Knowing full well that this list of phrases is just the tip of the iceberg, I hope you can at least say, "I've heard that before." If you can't, one of us is ancient history, out of touch, way out in left field, missed the boat or march to a different drummer. So, without further ado, cut to the chase, get the show on the road, stop messing around, and take a gander at what’s in store for you.
